I've given notice at my IT job. I am now officially a full time actor.

March: Rehearsals begin for Apple Tree's TYA production of "The Giver." Will be filming "Morgan's Last Call," a short film with Frank Merle films. More permanent, part-time SP work with Kaplan. A reading with Gregory Gerhard which will be filmed for his new documentary. Another reading with Hobo Junction of their upcoming show, "The Regulars." An internet video segment for www.theheckler.com. I've completed my VO demo with Lee Kanne.
I previously closed "The Brother" - Recommended by the Chicago Sun Times - and written up in the October 7th New York Times. To read the article, click here. I played Feklisov, the Russian spy who partnered with Julius Rosenberg - as well as Manny Bloch, the defense attorney for Julius and Ethel. The main character, David, was played by Steppenwolf's Robert Breuler and the show was directed by John Hancock (the Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated director of Bang The Drum Slowly).

Writing:
My short, "The Preview" was a first round finalist in the American Gem Short Screenplay competition (top 300 out of 1200).
CSW did a staged reading of my short, "Two Men" for their Shorts! festival and my monologue "Boarder" was chosen as a finalist in the Camenae Monomaniacal contest.

From the National Geographic Special, Murder and Madness in the White City.

From the previews of The Brother, with Robert Breuler.

From Take A Number, directed by Robert Boesel. I had a little weight on then, but it certainly worked for this character. Afterwards, I asked to keep the hair, but they needed it for the next belligerent janitor short. Premiered June 2nd along with Absence.

From 684 Brewster Northbound directed by Marcus Cohlan. I'm an orthodox Jewish man who brings up memories from the past for the main character.
